As thing go on every SIMM, the players on the USS Pontifex are also limited to regulations.

Every player accepts these rules:

POSTS

-         Posts are started by date, rank, position and character name (Like:[250903] Captain Rick Velden, CO)

-         Players do not use obscene language or extreme violent language in their posts

-         Players do not harm anyone in anyway in any Pontifex-list contacts

-         Post are ended by the word 'OFF', character name and rank (Like: Off: Captain Rick Velden, CO, USS Pontifex)

-         Posting is supposed to be fun. Try keeping it fun!

-         Each player is to post at least 2 posts a week.

-         If there are no posts without a given reason to the CO/XO for weeks, a player is removed from the simm or demoted in rank/ position.

-         If a player will be unable to post for an extended period of time, a LOA can be requested and will in almost every case be granted.

-         The number of times posted will be counted at the end of each month, when the SIMMS Monthly Status Report will be made up. Punishment for not posting will be executed then.

POSITIONS/ MISSIONS

-         Players accept their rank and position as given to them by their CO

-         Players do not promote themselves or subordinates, this is a CO's job.

-         Players who wish to bring in a NPC-character, are free to do so, with permission of the CO.

-         Players do not end or begin missions on their own. Subplots are ofcourse allowed.

-         At the end of each mission, there is shoreleave, in which promotions take place and commendations are given.
